Forward Deployed Performance: common questions

How is this different from management consulting?
A consultant leaves a recommendation. Riveltis executes the intervention on site with the team that owns the process, and reports the measured result against a baseline recorded before anything changed, including the parts that did not move.
How is improvement proven rather than asserted?
The baseline is measured and recorded before the intervention. Any claim afterwards is stated against that number. If a change cannot be measured, the engagement says so rather than describing it as a success.
What data access is needed?
Whatever already describes the flow, which is usually production records, quality data, and scheduling. Where the operating data is incomplete, establishing a trustworthy measurement is part of the work rather than a prerequisite for starting.
What if the constraint turns out to be somewhere unpopular?
It is reported where the data puts it. Constraints frequently sit in handoffs between functions rather than inside any one of them, which is exactly why they survive internal improvement programmes.
Does the improvement survive after you leave?
That is the purpose of the operating handoff. Method, named owners, and the measurement itself transfer to the team that runs the process, so the result does not depend on Riveltis remaining on site.
